What Do Patients Really Think?

Since 1997, MidMichigan Medical Center–Midland has ranked above average for “overall quality of care” for inpatient, outpatient and emergency department services. Results are based on statistically valid, random surveys conducted with patients by Professional Research Consultants (PRC), an independent research firm.

Our goal is excellence, and several of our facilities have received awards from PRC for excellence in care. For example, in 2001 MidMichigan Medical Center—Midland received a “Patient Satisfaction Achievement Award” from PRC for its efforts to positively impact patient satisfaction.

MidMichigan also has received “4 Star Customer Service Awards” for scoring in the top 25 percent of “excellent” responses in overall quality of care at several facilities including Clare’s emergency department.

As high as those ratings are, there’s always room for improvement. We take our patients’ suggestions to heart. If you have a suggestion or comment, please contact us.
