Wireless Internet Access

Many MidMichigan Health facilities offer free wireless Internet access for guests to browse Web sites, check e-mail, or perform other basic Internet tasks. Visitors may bring their own laptop computers, PDAs, or other WiFi-capable devices and connect to the visitor network in the following locations:

Wireless Network SymbolTo identify hotspots, look for signs marked "Visitor Wireless Internet Access." At MidMichigan Medical Center – Midland a guest computer is also available in these areas:

  • Ambulatory Surgery Waiting Room
  • F-level Waiting Room
  • Invasive Imaging/Cardiac Catheterization Waiting Room

As with most public hotspots, the MidMichigan Visitor Network is unsecured – please use it at your own risk. MidMichigan does not provide help desk support, wireless network cards or other devices to use on the Visitor Network. This network is compatible with wireless standard IEEE 802.11b/g, although some hardware or software may not be supported.

How Do I Call a Patient?

For patient privacy, we do not give out direct phone numbers to patient rooms. Please call the switchboard numbers below and ask for the patient by full name. Please keep in mind that patients may elect not to receive phone calls. See more ways to stay in touch.
