Annual Salary
- First Year - $53,000
- Second Year - $54,500
- Third Year - $56,000
Vacations & Continuing Medical Education
Each resident will be entitled to 15 vacation days for each of the three years of residency. In additional, each resident will be entitled to five days of continuing medical education for each of the three years of residency.
Reimbursement will be available for expenses incurred while attending approved medical conferences or for purchase of medical books, up to:
$1500 for first year residents
$1800 for second year residents
$2000 for third year residents
Additionally, each resident will complete ACLS, NRP, ALSO, PALS and Fundamental Critical Care Support certification training. The expenses for these training courses are paid by the residency program.
iPad
Each resident receives an iPad to use, making it easy to access information on the go.
Uniforms & Meals
Lab coats and a meal allowance are provided.
Insurance Benefits
A managed-care preferred provider plan, dental, vision and life insurance is available for resident, spouse and minor children effective the first of the month following the date of employment. Short-term and long-term disability coverage is provided for each resident after twelve months of employment.
Moving Expenses
Relocation and moving expenses up to $1,500 are available to incoming residents. Mileage, meals and temporary lodging will be reimbursed as a taxable benefit.
