Length of Training Change
Transitioning from 4-year to 3-year length of training
Over the last several years, Family Medicine Residency program at MidMichigan Medical Center – Midland has participated in an ABFM/ACGME 4-year Length of Training Pilot Program. The program will graduate a total of seven classes of residents from this pilot, ending with the class that began residency training in July 2019. We will then return to a 3-year length of training program beginning with the residents matched in 2020.
