Ashley Wolosonowich, A.P.R.N., F.N.P.-C., M.S.N., is a certified nurse practitioner with MidMichigan’s Spine and Pain Program. As part of this comprehensive program, Ashley works collaboratively with other members of this specialized team to provide balanced pain management care to diagnose and treat conditions such as neck and back pain, including work-related injuries and sciatica; persistent pain after back or neck surgery; arthritis pain in spine and joints; Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS); nerve damage; muscle spasm pain; shingles pain and headaches.
According to Ashley, many patients suffer from chronic pain and have had failed therapies in the past. “Working in pain management allows me to use many different tools to develop individualized plans of care for patients that will provide relief that they have not been able to achieve before,” she added.
Philosophy of Care
“It is very important to me to develop a trusting relationship with my patients in order to learn what their goals are for their care so that we can work together to achieve positive outcomes,” she said. “I feel it is my responsibility to listen closely to my patients, provide education on different treatment modalities, and develop a plan of care that will best meet their needs.“
When asked what aspect of her work she enjoys most, Ashley said she likes seeing her patients improve their quality of life and experience decreased pain after implementation of an agreed upon treatment plan.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband and her daughter. She also likes participating in book clubs and traveling.
