Internal Medicine Physician Asma Saboor, M.D., specializes in caring for adults and sees patients at MidMichigan Health Park – West Branch.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Saboor’s passion for preventive care and problem solving led her to practice internal medicine.
She has a keen interest for helping people with chronic medical conditions or multiple medical problems as well as taking care of a geriatric population and coordinating their care.
“I try to provide care that is empathic, compassionate and patient-centered,” said Dr. Saboor. “This also means addressing the underlying social and psychological issues that patients are facing as well as taking care of their physical ailments.”
“I want to know my patients as people and provide them with the best care. My goal is to build an honest and respectful relationship which involves shared decision making and understanding the nature of the problem.”
“Patients often tell us of experiences when our care made a difference in their lives, and it is deeply satisfying to have helped them recover and get back to living their lives.” Dr. Saboor believes that it is always team work that makes it all possible.
“I love my work and try to make sure each patient gets quality care at every visit with a clear plan to follow up.”
In addition to English, Dr. Saboor speaks Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. In her spare time, she enjoys reading books, biking and running.
