Philosophy of Care
“I decided to become a nurse at a very young age when my father died of brain cancer. Since then, I have come to understand that mutual respect between nurse and patient helps to develop a trusting and caring relationship which further promotes holistic healing and wellness. My hope is to provide this environment for my patients to assist in supporting their physical, spiritual, and mental goals towards their vision of wellness.”
Cora has served in the United States Navy. She entered the nursing profession in 2001, prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner. Previous employment includes MidMichigan Medical Center - Midland and Schnepp Senior Care and Rehab in St. Louis. She continues to work as Clinical Nurse Instructor at MidMichigan College.
In her free time, Cora enjoys spending time with family, traveling, running, reading and most any outdoor adventure.
