“I’ve always had a passion for women’s health,” she said. “I’m excited about the opportunity to accompany my patients along their breast health journey whether it’s through reconstruction or high risk prevention. I want to set women at ease by providing them options and educating them on the advancements in the field of breast health.”
Alison has over a decade of experience working in the field of breast oncology and quality improvement in breast health programs.
“I’m really happy with the advancements made in the field of breast health, especially with advanced imaging capabilities through tomosynthesis,” she said. “It allows clinicians to detect and identify early stage breast cancers as well as early stage risk factors for breast cancer. Early detection increases survival rates and we are fortunate to have the resources and tools we have for our patients.”
