Philosophy of Care
“Building a rapport that is both friendly and professional is important,” he explained. “I want patients to feel comfortable with me and have trust in my expertise. My goal is to provide superb care to every patient.”
Dr. Eggleston is passionate about the advancements in technology and how they positively affect both care teams and patients. “The 3D mammography allows us to receive enhanced images which leads to early diagnoses and allows us to plan treatment options quickly when needed,” he explained. “It also helps reduce the need for call backs and follow-up imaging which can be stressful for patients.” In addition, 3D stereotactic biopsies are more accurate and comfortable for patients and MRI is great problem-solving tool and with advancements that are reducing imaging times which can mean a reduction in patient anxiety.
“Anesthesia techniques assure procedures are less painful. Precise skills during procedures reduces their length and the need for repeat visits. I use these tools to produce the right answer; that’s what I strive for with every patient and every image, adds Dr. Eggleston.”
