“I want to create a provider/patient relationship based on mutual respect, trust and genuine concern for my patients’ health and well-being.”
Cathleen Chidester, P.A.-C., is a physician assistant who specializes in dermatology. She practices with MidMichigan Physicians Group in Midland.
She is passionate about dermatology and believes that the skin is an external reflection of health. Cathleen finds job satisfaction in carefully listening to patients describe their symptoms, examining them, ordering and interpreting the appropriate diagnostic tests to reach the correct diagnosis and choosing the best treatment plan to help ensure the best possible results and patient satisfaction.
Philosophy of Care
“I want to create a provider/patient relationship based on mutual respect, trust and genuine concern for my patients’ health and well-being,” Cathleen said. “I treat every patient in the same way that I would want my own family members treated. I genuinely care about my patients and I work diligently to ensure that the patient is receiving the best and most appropriate care.”
In addition, she takes time to explain all aspects of the disease process and treatment options to each patient in an effort to increase compliance with the treatment plan. “This increases the chance of a good outcome.”
Cathleen’s hobbies include exercising, hiking, landscaping her yard and taking medical mission trips. She has three children, and recently moved back to Michigan from Texas. While she has family in both states, she loves the four seasons in Michigan, especially fall.
These are the insurance plans in which this individual is a "participating provider".
This provider may accept other insurance, but your costs may be higher if they do not "participate" in your plan.
