Operating Rooms Feature Latest Equipment
Two state-of-the-art operating rooms are specially equipped for heart surgery with technology for touch-screen control of audio, video and medical equipment, such as endoscopic cameras. The operating rooms are electronically connected to the rest of the Medical Center. A patient's computerized data images can be called up and viewed on the large flat-screen monitors so that the surgical team may reference them during surgery. Video cameras can record the surgery and send a good view of the procedure to monitors visible to the whole team.

MidMichigan is the only hospital in the region to offer One Stop Post Op care, in which patients are taken to their own private room with private bath after surgery and will remain there for the entire hospital stay.
