Hospice Services

Hospice care is tailored to meet all the individual needs of the patient – physical, emotional and spiritual – as well as the needs of the family. Hospice services provided by MidMichigan Home Care may include:

  • Palliative care – management of pain and other symptoms
  • Medical equipment and supplies
  • Coordination and consultation with patient's existing physicians
  • Therapy to maintain functional skills and capabilities
  • Help with personal hygiene, household duties and errands
  • Companionship
  • Respite care for family or caregivers when needed
  • Assistance with putting financial matters in order or planning funeral arrangements
  • Social work services to address emotional needs for the patient and the family, such as coping with loneliness, isolation or fear
  • Support for spiritual needs, in coordination with your spiritual leader
  • Life Review Program to record memories for loved ones
  • Grief counseling and support groups for families
  • Memorial services for families
