Understanding Grief 6 Week Series

These 6 week groups serves adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. Many members have begun the difficult and challenging work needed to establish life without their loved one. These groups have a more social atmosphere. Newly bereaved adults are welcome, but should be aware of the nature of this group.

The programs have a set agenda. Topics including defining grief, common and normalcy of grief reactions, caring for ourselves while grieving and recognizing progress in processing grief. There is an opportunity to share losses and memories while discussing opportunities for healing. The programs are facilitated by a Bereavement Coordinator or Medical Social Worker.
