Parkinson's Support Group - Alma

Parkinson's affects many people. It is very common for people with Parkinson's and their support individuals to suffer a feeling of being alone among other obstacles.

The group is facilitated by Scott Hicks, L.P.N., caregiver trainer for the Commission on Aging and will allow people to share their journey, obstacles and triumphs and provide emotional support for each other along the way. Guest speakers will provide monthly topic presentations at the beginning of the meeting.

The program is held in collaboration with Gratiot County Commission on Aging, MidMichigan Health, Michigan Parkinson Foundation and community partners.
