UPDATE: Support Groups

For your safety during these uncertain times, some face-to-face support groups may be cancelled, offered virtually or otherwise adapted to follow social distancing guidelines.

Parkinson's Support Group - Alma

Parkinson's affects many people. It is very common for people with Parkinson's and their caregivers to suffer a feeling of being alone, among many other obstacles caused by the condition.

This support group is designed for people with Parkinson's, their families and other support individuals. The group allows participants to share their journeys, obstacles, triumphs and provide emotional support for each other along the way.

Topics discussed will include: what disease management resources are available, a matter of balance, taking control: recognizing and managing signs and symptoms, advance directives, physical activity and Parkinson's, adult immunizations, MAPS - Medicare enrollment, Parkinson's medications and coping with the holidays.
