Family Medicine Residency Program at MidMichigan Medical Center - Gratiot

Michigan State University College of Human Medicine LogoIn collaboration with Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, MidMichigan Medical Center - Gratiot will be offering a three-year family medicine residency program.

The Family Medicine Residency Program, located in Alma, Michigan, will be focused on rural, community-based hospital and clinical practice. Most physician office rotations and all continuity clinics will be based in Alma. Inpatient pediatric rotation will be completed at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan.

Our program is waiting approval by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Approval is expected the end of October 2015, and we anticipate admitting the inaugural class of four first-year residents in Summer 2016. You will not see our program listed through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) until the beginning of November 2015.

Applications must be completed through ERAS, and we will accept applications for first year residents only through the National Resident Matching Program (NMRP). Please watch our website for specific details about the application process later this fall.
