MidMichigan Physicians Group has an exceptional opportunity for a full time, BC/BE, experienced or graduating fellow with an interest in all areas of medical oncology and hematology along with a desire to take an active role in expanding comprehensive cancer services, enhancing diagnostic techniques and providing advanced treatment in a growing regional practice. This Midland, Michigan based practice delivers state-of-the-art care in a medically sophisticated environment. MidMichigan Health offers a broad range of comprehensive cancer services and is a nationally recognized and awarded seven hospital system affiliated with the University of Michigan Health System.

Cancer Care
MidMichigan's cancer program is widely recognized for its advanced technology, outstanding medical capabilities and highly trained and experienced oncology specialists. The 365 bed state of the art MidMichigan Medical Center - Midland offers chemotherapy, surgical treatment for cancer, operates radiation oncology centers in Midland, Alma and Bay City, advanced diagnostics (including PET/CT) and is one of only three hospitals in Michigan to offer Gamma Knife surgery and the only to offer Gamma Knife Perfexion®.
MidMichigan Health’s Pardee Cancer Center has earned accreditation by the National Association Program for Breast Centers and an accreditation with commendation by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as a comprehensive community cancer program and is a member of the Association of Community Cancer Centers.
MidMichigan is affiliated with the University of Michigan Health System. This affiliation allows us to offer local access to second opinions; clinical trials and onsite specialty clinics from one of the nation's best comprehensive NCI designated cancer centers.
Practice Site
A 11,000-square-foot, state-of-the-science Outpatient Infusion Center at MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland opened in 2008. This center is located in a serene, naturally wooded area on the 150-acre campus of the Medical Center. Oversized windows provide a tranquil view for patients during chemotherapy. For patient convenience there is ease of parking and patient access. A nutrition center, pharmacy and laboratory drawing station Medical Social Work, Cancer Rehabilitation, Palliative Care and Genetic Counseling to the services are integrated into the building for streamlined services. The center will also be the clinic site for the hematology/oncology practice and is adjacent to the Medical Center and other MidMichigan Health Services.
