Excellent opportunity for an emergency medicine physician, BC, or graduating resident or fellow who is BE in emergency medicine. Physician must have current certification in AHA ACLS, ACS/COT ATLS, and AHA PALS.
Midland Emergency Room Corp. offers competitive salary and benefits, as well as partnership opportunities. The compensation is approximately 75 percent of median, with excellent benefits.
MidMichigan Medical Center – Midland received a three-year re-verification as an Adult Level II Trauma Center by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma (COT). The Medical Center also was designated by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services as an Adult Level II Trauma Center.
Patient and Procedure Mix
The emergency room at MidMichigan Medical Center - Midland sees approximately 40,000 patients per year in the Level 2 trauma facility. Providers “cap” at 25 patients per day.
The group staffs 50 physician hours and 12 midlevel hour for a total of 62 provider hours a day.
Since receiving its first Level II trauma verification in 2014, MidMichigan Medical Center – Midland has treated more than 2500 patients admitted with traumatic injuries (information current as of July 2017).
10-hour shifts (No 24-hour shift requirements)
