MidMichigan Health and the University of Michigan Health System are collaborating on a new health center in Bay City, Michigan. We are seeking a physician leader to assist in developing the center, incorporating new providers and implementing an innovative physician compensation model along with cutting-edge models for patient-focused care.


  • U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent
  • Board eligible or board-certified
  • Completed a three-year residency or a fellowship in internal medicine
  • Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Michigan and a Controlled Substance License

  • Innovative use of emerging medical technologies
  • Epic electronic medical record
  • Enhanced-efficiency environment, leveraging Lean principles for processes and patient flow

Office Procedures

All aspects of primary care for an adult population, including evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients in an outpatient setting; preparing and reviewing patient charts; prescribing medications; performing a balance of outpatient and inpatient procedures and surgeries; and providing appropriate follow-up after discharge.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary $240,000
  • Up to $50,000 in bonuses
