Internships, Externships and Job Shadowing Opportunities

Internships

MidMichigan Health offers two types of student internships. Both are unpaid opportunities:

  • Academic internships for college credit. This program is for students already enrolled in a healthcare program who must complete hours based on a class requirement. These internships are available September 1 - May 1 each year. Prior to starting the internship experience, students must provide a curriculum guide of the requirements to be completed during the internship experience to obtain graduation credit.
  • Volunteer hours for students who need hours to gain acceptance into a healthcare program. These internship hours are available May 1 - August 31. Prior to starting the internship experience, students must provide a curriculum guide of the college's recognized requirements for application.

The application process for these internships is open year round. Placement will be based on availablility within the requested departments and is not guaranteed. These jobs are posted in Job Opportunities under the category "Student." Students must complete an online application to be considered.
