Gladwin Pines: Visitor Information

Visiting Hours

Family and friends may visit residents at any time. For the security of our residents, we lock the doors between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., but we have security buzzers with cameras for after-hours admittance.


Meals are available upon request or beginning at the following times:

Breakfast Lunch Dinner
Beginning at 7:15 a.m. Beginning at 12:00 p.m. Beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Family and friends are welcome to join us and may purchase meal tickets at the front desk for $4.

Contacting Residents

Postal Mail - U.S. Mail is delivered to MidMichigan Gladwin Pines on weekdays. Personal mail is delivered to the resident while business mail is forwarded to the responsible party. Other arrangements may be made with the office.  Residents can also mail letters out, via the office mail.

E-Mail – Family and friends can e-mail our residents at an address we provide, or they may send an e-card at any time.

Telephone – Local telephone service is provided. Residents must provide their own telephone. Telephones are provided for short-term rehabilitation patients.

Newspapers – Hometown news can add a spark of interest and help residents stay connected to their community.  Residents and families may arrange to have newspapers delivered by contacting the newspaper delivery agency directly.

Television – Televisions may be brought into residents' rooms. Cable service is available. In semi-private rooms, the television should be no larger than 19 inches to allow enough counter space.

Educational Opportunities – Educational opportunities are available to family members through our Family Council, Support Groups and facility-sponsored programs.
