A beautiful 30 foot pine tree set the stage for the lighting of MidMichigan Medical Center – West Branch’s Love Light Trees at the 2nd annual event. More than $2,000 has been donated thus far to the MidMichigan Health Foundation for the Love Light Trees program to support the comfort and care of patients served at the Medical Center in West Branch.
Community members enjoyed seeing the Love Light Trees lit in a festive ceremony that included an invocation by West Branch. Pastor J. Daniel Stoneback. Mary Henry, flutist of the Arpeggio musical duo, performed songs of the season during the ceremony. The Griffin Family gathered to conduct the lighting of the Love Light Trees in honor of the late Bob Griffin of West Branch. Best wishes were conveyed to this year’s Love Light Tree chair, Bob McGrail as he concluded serving his last event prior to retirement. The illumination of the remembrance candles and holiday refreshments helped round out the evening’s program.
