Medical Center Receives 5-Star Rating for Quality

MidMichigan Medical Center – West Branch has received a 5-Star Rating for Overall Quality from Medicare.gov’s Hospital Compare January release. The Medical Center is one of 407 U.S. hospitals, out of more than 4,500 to earn this rating.

The overall rating summarizes up to 57 quality measures reflecting common conditions that are treated at hospitals, such as heart attacks or pneumonia. It also demonstrates how well each hospital performed, on average, compared to other hospitals in the U.S.

In addition to its 5-Star Rating, the Medical Center was recognized for exceeding the national average in safety of care, readmissions and patient experience.
