Health Talk to Review Vision for a Healthier Community

MidMichigan Medical Center – West Branch invites the community to “Health Talk” a discussion about healthy lifestyle practices, community program and events, and efforts being taken to better the well-being of the next generation. The free program will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at 6 p.m., at Surline Elementary School, Cafeteria, 147 State Street, West Branch.

Guest speakers, Brent Mikkola, E.P., C.P.T., wellness coordinator; Anthony Bair, R.N, B.S.N., E.M.T.-P., manager, emergency services/trauma program; and Janet Wichert, R.D., director, nutrition services, all of MidMichigan Medical Center – West Branch, and Holly Campbell, R.N., B.S.N, M.P.H., community health director, of District Health Department No. 2, to discuss health and wellness, childhood obesity, emergency and trauma services, healthy meals and meal planning, common childhood communicable diseases and vaccinations, teenage smoking and drug use and more.
