A beautiful star lit evening served as a back drop for the lighting of MidMichigan Medical Center – Gladwin’s Love Light Trees. More than $3,500 has been donated thus far to the MidMichigan Health Foundation for the Love Light Trees program to support equipment needs and patient enhancements for the Medical Center in Gladwin. Daniel Goodin, M.D. and Melissa Weckessar, M.D., served as co-chairs of the Love Light Trees ceremony and candle lighting remembrance event.

Approximately 50 people witnessed the Love Light Trees being lit in a warm ceremony held at MidMichigan Health Park – Gladwin. Reverend David Sprang, assistant to the Bishop of the Northwest Lower Michigan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, provided the invocation. Christmas music filled the night air thanks to Howard Tyree, P.A.-C., MidMichigan Urgent Care – Gladwin. The lighting of the remembrance candles and serving of holiday refreshments helped round out the evening’s program.
