The greater Bay County area will soon have a new option in health care with the arrival of Family Physician Tiffany Thalappillil Philip, D.O. Dr. Philip is currently seeing patients at MidMichigan Health Park – Freeland and will be moving to a new facility in Bay County later this summer. She is welcoming new patients who wish to follow her to her Bay County location.

“What I love most about family medicine is the continuity of care that I get with my patients. I enjoy creating meaningful relationships with patients and their families over the years and providing them with quality medical care,” said Philip. “We designed our new Bay County location with the patient in mind, incorporating patient feedback into every aspect of the design. By offering unique features that meet their needs as well as our partnership with Michigan Medicine, we will be able to bring more specialized services and care to the region.”

The new facility is currently under construction and located at the corner of 2-mile and Kiesel Roads, adjacent to John Glenn High School.

Dr. Philip earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at New York Institute of Technology – Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in family medicine at Peconic Bay Medical Center – Northwell Health in Riverhead, NY. Her pastimes include traveling, reading and cooking.

“I treat my patients as I would treat my own family,” said Dr. Philip. “I also believe it is important to educate patients about their health, as this involves them in their care plan and allows them to take ownership of their health. I look forward to working closely with my patients and helping them see the progress they have made towards a higher degree of wellness.”
