MidMichigan Home Care Hosting Hospice Volunteer Training

Whether it’s providing companionship to a person in the final months and weeks of their life or offering support to family members and caregivers, volunteers provide an important role in hospice care.

MidMichigan Home Care is seeking hospice volunteers in the Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, Mecosta, Midland and Montcalm areas, as well as for Woodland Hospice House located in Mt. Pleasant.

Volunteer training sessions will be held at the Gerstacker Building, located on the campus of MidMichigan Medical Center – Midland, on Wednesday, Nov. 7, and Thursday, Nov. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Volunteer trainees must attend both sessions.
