Discover How to Prevent Falls During ThinkFirst Program

Falls are the leading cause of injury for people over age 65. ThinkFirst to Prevent Falls, a free program, was designed to help individuals recognize their concerns about falling and the hazards in their home and community that contribute to falls.

The program will consist of a presentation that will discuss fall prevention topics such as home safety, safety in the community, talking with your physician, nutrition, the significance of exercise, vision and medications.

ThinkFirst to Prevent Falls will be held at MidMichigan Medical Offices – Gladwin on Monday, Sept. 24, from 1 to 3:30 p.m., in the Community Education Room.

This program is free, but registration is required. Those who would like to register may visit or call MidMichigan Health Line at (800) 999-3199.
