Coffee Talk Highlights Volunteer Opportunities at Medical Center

Those who volunteer often do so to help others as well as to make a difference within their community. Volunteering has personal rewards, too, such as making new friends, learning new skills, building relationships and staying mentally and physically active.

MidMichigan Medical Center – Gladwin offers many roles for volunteers. Volunteer opportunities include serving as a patient ambassador, working in the Gift Shop, providing clerical assistance, greeting patients/families at reception desks and organizing fundraising events such as book and candy sales, among others.

Learn more about volunteering at the Medical Center during a “coffee talk” on Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 10 to 11:00 a.m. in the Community Education Room at the Medical Center. Refreshments will be served. No reservation is required, and all interested community members are invited to attend.

Those interested in volunteering at MidMichigan Medical Center – Gladwin may contact Jo Sommers, volunteer coordinator, at (989) 246-6201, or visit www.midmichigan.org/volunteers
