The Emergency Department is located at the north end of the Medical Center. In July 2019 a new larger state of the art emergency department was opened. The new emergency department was designed to provide efficient and safe care for our patients, as well as aesthetically calming during stressful times.

MidMichigan Medical Center – West Branch Emergency Department staff works collaboratively with nurses, physicians, mid-levels, and auxiliary departments to provide high end quality care with excellent patient outcomes. Our team is dedicated to provide compassionate care to our communities. We strive to meet our quality metrics and provide excellent care to our patients and support to their family. We are dedicated to the health and safety of our community.

The Emergency Department practices and is educated on evidenced based medicine to provide the most up to date and proven best practices for patient care. The Emergency Department is educated on advanced practice for highly critical patients, trauma patients and the staff are currently or working towards certification specific to emergency care. Our ED providers are board certified in emergency medicine, providing the excellent, high quality care to our communities.
