We strive to give our patients excellent care with a multidisciplinary approach to ensure our patients have what they need upon discharge. Our nurses are self-motivated, well-composed in a stressful situation, and work well as a team to ensure excellent care within our unit.

We strive for employee engagement through various committees and groups for nurses to belong in, including our unit practice council. Skills days and other various classes are available for professional growth and development.

The orientation process is over 8 weeks with an observation of Cath lab procedures and an introduction to ventilators with our excellent respiratory therapists. New nursing staff also receives a brief orientation in all three of the Intensive Care Units that MidMichigan Medical Center – Midland has to offer.

WATCHMAN™ is a trademark of Boston Scientific. Boston Scientific is a worldwide developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices that are used in a broad range of interventional medical specialties.
