Local Partnership Brings Patients More Resources, Access to Care

A new logo unveiled this week for MidMichigan Community Health Services reflects a deeper relationship with Michigan Medicine, the academic medical center of the University of Michigan, as well as a commitment by both organizations to providing quality health care in northern Michigan.

“What this means is that our patients can have confidence that their medical care is now connected to a larger network of resources,” said Jim Raschke, executive director, MidMichigan Community Health Services.

Pharmacy Receives Medicare 5-Star Rating

The pharmacy at MidMichigan Medical Center – Houghton Lake received Five-Star Ratings from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) for exceeding these goals that improve patient health and medication safety

Star Ratings are intended to help consumers compare Medicare Advantage (MA) and Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plans (MAPD) based on quality, cost and coverage. Five stars indicates the highest level of performance.

At MidMichigan Community Health Services, we believe that everyone has the right to affordable, quality healthcare. We offer a Medical Care Discount Program which offers a sliding scale fee to patients who may not be able to afford healthcare or prescriptions.
