2008 Pardee Cancer Center Annual Report
2008 Pardee Cancer Center Annnual Report(PDF, 3.3 MB)

If you or a loved one is facing cancer, it’s comforting to know that state-of-the-art care is available right here in the middle of Michigan. MidMichigan's cancer program is widely recognized for its advanced technology, outstanding medical capabilities and highly trained and experienced physicians.
  • Our experts provide personalized attention and a wide range of services that offer hope and support through a difficult time. For example, MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland has an Oncology Nurse Navigator who guides patients through their course of treatment.
  • MidMichigan’s Pardee Cancer Center supports cancer prevention, detection and treatment through a comprehensive program of cancer services.
  • MidMichigan offers chemotherapy and surgical treatment for cancer and also operates radiation oncology centers in Midland, Alma, Bay City and Saginaw.
  • MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland is the only hospital in Michigan to offer Gamma Knife Perfexion - the world's most advanced treatment for many types of brain tumors.
  • Not surprisingly, MidMichigan Medical Center-Midland is among the select one-sixth of the nation’s hospitals to be certified by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. The Medical Center is an approved "Community Hospital Cancer Program."
  • The Breast Health Program at MidMichigan's Center for Women's Health has been accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. This designation is given only to centers that have undergone a rigorous evaluation and performance review, demonstrating compliance with the NAPBC's standards. There is also a breast health program associated with MidMichigan Gratiot Cancer Center in Alma.
  • MidMichigan is affiliated with Karmanos Cancer Institute, offering local access to second opinions, clinical trials and emerging drugs and therapies from one of the nation's best comprehensive cancer centers.
