Quality of Medical Care– The MidMichigan Difference
One of the most distinguishing features of MidMichigan Stratford Village is our quality of care.
- Medical care is directed by a board-certified gerontologist who works with each resident’s personal physician to assure continuity of care.
- A geriatric nurse practitioner visits residents on a regular basis. And residents receive 24-hour assisted care from nurses and trained nurse assistants.
- For convenience and safety, residents can get most of their medical care on-site, including X-Rays, EKGs, lab work, dental care, optometric care, pharmacy delivery services and physical and occupational therapy.
- Staff professionals (dietitians, nurses, activity personnel and social workers) are focused on patient needs. Highly trained, they keep their skills fresh during regular educational sessions.
- To make absolutely sure we’re providing the best possible care, we schedule quarterly care conferences for every resident. These conferences bring together residents, their families and care givers to discuss progress and needs.
- Transportation services to medical appointments provided by a MidMichigan staff member in a handicap accessible van or bus are available.
- Hospice services are provided by MidMichigan Hospice .
