I Help Patients Achieve Their Goals
I specialize in manual therapy – assessing where a patient might have dysfunction in the spine or musculoskeletal system. This hands-on treatment improves the patient’s range of motion and speeds healing time. When the patient starts an exercise program, the exercise ball is one tool we use to help them achieve their therapy goals.
There’s a team approach to care at MidMichigan Medical Center - Gratiot in Alma. To give patients the best care possible, I have to be a partner with each of their doctors – from neurologists to pediatricians.
Everyone in our department takes pride in doing the best we can for each patient. Working together, we play on each other’s strengths to give patients the best variety of treatments. The patients appreciate what we do for them, and that makes it rewarding.
When a patient first comes to therapy, they often can’t do the little things we all take for granted – like reaching into a cupboard or holding a coffee cup. I enjoy working one-on-one with them, focusing on getting their pain down as quickly as possible so they can get back to their daily activities.
It’s people like Brian, his determination and his ability to get patients back to enjoying life that you’ll find inside MidMichigan Medical Center - Gratiot – people with skills and compassion.
