Description
Full time opportunity to practice internal medicine in mid-Michigan with a growing and dynamic, established Medical Center. Opportunity to work alongside well-respected specialists with a balance of outpatient and inpatient procedures.
Requirements
- U.S. medical degree or foreign equivalent
- Board eligible or board-certified
- Completed a three-year residency or a fellowship in internal medicine
- Must have or be eligible for an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Michigan and a Controlled Substance License

This in an offsite, outpatient practice affiliated with MidMichigan Medical Center–Clare.

Patient and Procedure Mix
All aspects of primary care for an adult population, including evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of patients; preparing and reviewing patient charts; prescribing medications; performing outpatient procedures; coordinating with physicians in the hospitalist program to care for patients when hospitalized and providing appropriate follow-up after discharge. Also includes supervision of mid-level providers and responsibilities to hospice program.

MidMichigan Medical Center–Clare - a 64-bed acute care facility accredited by the Join Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Services include medical-surgical care, obstetrics, pediatrics, intensive are, telemetry monitoring, outpatient services, emergency services, urgent care services, radiology, ultrasound, mammography, computer tomography, nuclear medicine, respiratory care, physical medicine and rehabilitation. MidMichigan Medical Center-Clare also offers specialty clinics in several areas.
Compensation
This is an employed position with a base salary and RVU component. Relocation expenses, disability, malpractice, medical and dental, paid time off, paid holidays, CME stipend.
Schedule
Traditional office hours:
Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
