Applications

The Family Medicine Residency Program at MidMichigan Medical Center - Midland accepts applications only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) of the Association of American Medical Colleges. Our deadline for receipt of all materials is December 1. Application materials should include:

• ERAS common application form with personal statement
• Dean’s letter
• Medical school transcripts
• Three letters of recommendation
• USMLE transcripts

Interviews

Interviews are scheduled by invitation only and are conducted November 1 through January 5 of each year. The interview process includes an overnight stay in Midland (at the residency program’s expense), which accommodates an informal question and answer session with one or two of our current residents. The actual interview day includes meetings with the director, other members of the faculty and available residents. A tour of the Medical Center and a driving tour of the city also are provided.
