Hospice Services
Hospice care is tailored to meet all the individual needs of the patient – physical, emotional and spiritual – as well as the needs of the family. Hospice services provided by MidMichigan Home Care may include:
- Palliative care – management of pain and other symptoms
- Medical equipment and supplies
- Coordination and consultation with patient's existing physicians
- Therapy to maintain functional skills and capabilities
- Help with personal hygiene, household duties and errands
- Companionship
- Respite care for family or caregivers when needed
- Assistance with putting financial matters in order or planning funeral arrangements
- Social work services to address emotional needs for the patient and the family, such as coping with loneliness, isolation or fear
- Support for spiritual needs, in coordination with your spiritual leader
- Life Review Program to record memories for loved ones
- Grief counseling and support groups for families
- Memorial services for families
