Cheryl Loubert, M.D., Offers Hospitalist Service at Medical Center in Gladwin

Cheryl Loubert, M.D.Internal Medicine Physician Cheryl Loubert, M.D., is now providing hospitalist service at MidMichigan Medical Center–Gladwin. A hospitalist is a hospital-based physician who specializes in caring for patients while they are in the hospital. Hospitalists work closely with patients, family members, primary care physicians,specialists and other departments of the hospital to provide high quality and effective inpatient care.

Dr. Loubert earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit and completed her residency at theNavalRegionalMedicalCenter,Portsmouth,VA. Dr. Loubert was on active duty with the United States Navy from 1990-1997. Following her military service, she was in private practice prior to joining MidMichigan in 2004.

“My patients tell me that I really listen to them and don’t make them feel like a number,” said Dr. Loubert. “I take the time to give them the best care possible, and I like involving families in the process to support them through things that might be emotionally difficult.”
