MidMichigan Medical Offices–Beaverton Receives Honor at Public Health Summit

Ray Stover and Janet Foor Accept CMDHD Award at the Public Health Summit

Ray Stover, president of MidMichigan Medical Offices–Gladwin and Janet Foor, director of system integration for MidMichigan Health, accept an award by the Central Michigan District Health Department on behalf of MidMichigan Medical Offices–Beaverton. MidMichigan received the award at the Public Health Summit for addressing the need for additional healthcare in the Beaverton area and investing in the community by increasing local access to quality healthcare.

MidMichigan Medical Offices–Beaverton was recognized by the Central Michigan District Health Department at the third annual Public Health Summit as part of the Together We Can Initiative. MidMichigan received the award for addressing the need for additional healthcare in the Beaverton area and investing in the community by increasing local access to quality healthcare.

MidMichigan Medical Offices–Beaverton opened in March 2012 and offers a full range of family medical services. The 5,437-square-foot facility is located at 439 S. M-18 (Ross Street), across from Beaverton Middle School. From general preventative care to ongoing acute and chronic illness management, MidMichigan Medical Offices–Beaverton houses lab services, X-ray, and visiting physician specialists. Lab and X-ray services are available on a walk in basis; patients may bring signed orders from any provider or facility. The site will be staffed by a Family Nurse Practitioner Ann Roehrs, F.N.P.-B.C.

Roehrs, who is originally from Gladwin, was a nurse at MidMichigan Medical Center–Midland for 10 years and MidMichigan Medical Center–Gladwin for two years, before pursing her master’s degree and becoming a nurse practitioner. She earned a master’s degree from Graceland University in Independence, Mo., and a bachelor’s degree from Ferris State University in Big Rapids.

Roehrs welcomes new patients. Office hours are Mondays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to noon. Same day appointments are available and can be made by calling (989) 246-3500.
