Auxiliary Installs New Officers, Presents Check to MidMichigan

Gladwin Auxiliary Installs New Officers

The MidMichigan Medical Center–Gladwin Auxiliary recently installed their new officers for fiscal year 2012-2013. The MidMichigan Medical Center–Gladwin Auxiliary presented a check in the amount of $25,000 to the Medical Center on May 21. The money was raised through a variety of efforts, including the Love Light Trees campaign, Doe Day golf outing, quilt raffle, book, uniform, candy sales, as well as proceeds from the Gift Shop.

The MidMichigan Medical Center–Gladwin Auxiliary also installed their new officers for fiscal year 2012-2013. The Auxiliary has provided more than 46 years of volunteer service to the Medical Center.

Gladwin Auxiliary Presents Check

The MidMichigan Medical Center–Gladwin Auxiliary presented a check in the amount of $25,000 to the Medical Center on May 21. Here, Ray Stover, president of MidMichigan Medical Center–Gladwin, accepts the check from Auxiliary treasurer JoAnne Cameron.

Elected to the executive board were Mary Griffore of Gladwin, president and member for 16 years; Ruth Welch of Gladwin, vice president and member for six years; Naomi Cornwell of Gladwin, secretary and member for one year; and JoAnne Cameron of Gladwin, treasurer and member for 16 years. Additional board members include Norma Agar, Mabel Beebe, Chris Christman, Beth Daniels, Jeanne Durham, Dolores Johnson, Bob LaFontaine, Jo Lesperance, Joyce Orban, Susan Pahl, Jan Stewart and Joyce Ann Thompson.

Several volunteer positions are available at MidMichigan Medical Center–Gladwin, providing the opportunity to make difference in the community and meet new friends who share the same passion of helping others. Immediate needs include the Ambassador Service, Gift Shop and reception areas. Other opportunities are available in fundraising and promoting goodwill within in the community.
