A Holiday Giving Tradition
We know the beauty of a single light, but the brilliance of many lights shining together for a cause cannot be matched.
The holidays are a time of joy, laughter, family and friends. For many of us it is also a time of giving and remembering. MidMichigan Health sponsors a numbers of events to help us remember loved ones while at the same time supporting health care needs within our communities. One example is the lighting of the Love Light Trees in Clare, Gladwin and Midland.
This annual project has generated nearly a million dollars collectively over the years, enabling these MidMichigan locations to provide much needed equipment and support services to enhance patient care. The event culminates for all three medical centers with a lighting ceremony held in early December. Lights illuminated on evergreen trees in each location signify donations received by the program.
How You Can Help
Contributions to Love Light Trees for any of the three programs are accepted year-round. Gifts can be made to remember or honor family or friends. Donations can also be used to commemorate an occasion such as an anniversary or a birthday. Recipients are notified of your tribute. To make a contribution to Love Light Trees, please download a giving form, contact us, or use our secure online giving form.
